Rotary Extraction Cleaning

If your carpets have not been cleaned in the last 12 months, or if you have some reappearing spots, you need to have you carpets cleaned by "rotary jet extraction".

Whats this?

Most cleaners use a traditional carpet cleaning wand that is pushed back and forth by the technician. Usually 2 to 3 passes with water are used followed by a vacuum pass. This tool is great for carpet that is cleaned on a very regular basis and is lightly soiled.

The "rotary jet extraction" machine uses the same method of hot water and suction, but adds several things:
1. The head on the machine is rotating at 150 rpm as it applies hot water and
vacuums. Going over an area of carpet 1 time with this machine is like doing 20 passes
with the traditional wand. (trust me, no carpet technician is doing 20 passes)
2. Since the head in working in a circular motion, it cleans all sides of the carpet fiber. As
it rotates across the carpet in different directions, no dirt can hide behind any fibers.
3. The rotary machine weighs 50 pounds, so the pressure of the weight adds to the
cleaning.

Here is a recent job we did. We cleaned and polished this travertine to a high polish shine.
Notice the reflection of the lighting in the before picture compared to the after pictures.
This was accomplished by cleaning the floor, then polishing with several different grits of a diamond pads to get it to the high gloss finish. We do this on travertine, or marble floors.

Donation to YAPS

On Wednesday, November 10th Scott from Scott’s Carpet Cleaning Services visited Yucaipa Animal Placement Society to present the local nonprofit animal shelter with a check for $268.00. During the month of October Scott offered his client base of over 1000 people a special cleaning promotion that allotted for five percent of their total bill to be donated to YAPS. Customers had to present the flyer that was distributed in the monthly newsletter, to Scott and his crew for the special promotion

The idea came about due to a desire to help the shelter, and through some thought we came up with a way for people to help YAPS in addition to increasing awareness to the cause. We were excited to help the furry friends of YAPS,” said owner Scott Miller.
